How do I create text based content?
- Login to SpotMenus using your email and password
- Click on the location you wish to manage
- Click "New Content" to create a new text-based content item
- Enter your "Content Name"
- Example: New Product Catalog, Cocktail Recipes, Holiday Specials, Weekly Coupons
- Select "Content Type"
- Catalog, Specials, Coupons, Recipes
- Enter your Promotional Call to Action (optional)
- Enter your Promotional Call to Action URL (optional)
- Customize your Display Hours or select "Always Available" and scroll down to "Manage Text Content Items"
- Select "Manage Text Content Items"
- Select "Add New Group" to begin creating your text-based content, enter the group name, and click "Save"
- Enter the "Group Name"
- Example: "Holiday Specials"
- Click "Save"
- Select "Add Items"
- Select "Add New Item"
- Enter the following
- Item Name
- Price - Enter the price without the dollar sign, $
- Description
- To add additional items to your Group, please follow the above steps from the "Add New Item" section
- Once complete with this section click "Save Group Details"
- Once complete click "Create Content" to save your changes
- Note: To display your Content when a customer scans your QR code be sure to add to a Content Group!
