How do I create a text based menu?

  • Updated
  • Login to SpotMenus using your email and password
  • Click on the location you wish to manage

  • Click "Menu Manager"

  • Click "New Menu" to create a new menu

  • Enter your "Menu Name"
    • Example: Food Menu, Happy Hour Menu, Appetizers 
  • Select "Menu Type"
    • Food, Drink, Food & Drink
  • Customize your Display Hours or select "Always Available" and scroll down to "Manage Text Menu Items"

  • Select "Manage Text Menu Items"

  • Select "Add New Group" to begin creating your text-based menu, enter the group name, and click "Save"

  • Enter the "Group Name"  
    • Example: "Appetizers"
  • Click "Save"
  • Select "Add Items" 
  • Select "Add New Item"
  • Enter the following
    • Item Name
    • Price - Enter the price without the dollar sign, $
    • Description
    • Gluten-Free, Spicy, Vegan, Vegetarian options (if applicable)

  • Click "Save Item"
  • To add additional items to your Group, please follow the above steps from the "Add New Item"
  • Once complete with this section click "Save Group Details"
